Responsibilities

Supply Chain Planners play a significant role in providing Keysight’s customers with a satisfying, “whole” customer experience. Supply Chain Planners work through various nodes of the value chain contributing to the optimal customer experience by ensuring products are delivered, when the customers want them, while optimizing the existing supply chain performance. Supply Chain Planning support plan to optimize manufacturing resources to meet Customers’ requirement with key focus on meeting Keysight Technologies Malaysia Order Fulfillment goals and /or delivery commitments in finished products.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

  • Define mid and long-term plan for Product Line based on forecast and order trend.
  • Manage business trend like order trend, inventory level, capacity plan and/or resource plan
  • Manage exceptions from Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
  • Liaise with Factory Order Management Team pertaining to order issues and customer escalation/enquiry.
  • Release plan to production/Contract Manufacturer to build.
  • Trigger Kanban for sub-assemblies/Finish Good which are built by contract manufacturer (CM).
  • Perform the inventory reservation once units are submitted.
  • Release (ship release) the order for shipment to Supply Chain Order Management Team.
  • Perform the closure on those “completed” & “cancelled” work orders.
  • Withdraw units from FGI for re-calibration or C-Opt.
  • Liaise with production as appropriate
  • Communicate to production and update build plan when there is any change in the order (cancelled, push-out, configuration or qty change).
  • Follow up on production progress to ensure work order complete per work order submission date.
  • Provide escalation list to production for them to prioritize the FGI submission.
  • Monitor on work order aging and work with production to close work order on time.
  • Liaise with logistic on escalation order or issue related to order
  • Log Outbound Expedite Shipment Request (OESR) for last minutes FGI submission to avoid On time Arrival (OTA)
  • Follow up with Logistic department and logistic service provider on those escalated shipment.
  • Interface with procurement & Internal Supplier department to ensure adequate materials requirement.
  • Liaise with engineer to provide the evaluation support.
  • Work with product line and engineer on NPI, product transfer plan and demo plan
  • Support acknowledgement of orders and customer expedites.
  • Liaise with Demand Planner on those demand forecast and big deal issues.
  • Support Product Line on shipment projection, backlog profile, and monthly shipment flash preparation.
  • Monitor Available to Promise Dates and product lead times to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross functionally to analyze and resolve Oracle Exception actions, including both material and capacity constraints.
  • Maintain parameters and actions to ensure proper supply chain inventory levels and capacity levels over the planning horizon.
  • Liaise with Contract Manufacturing (CM) as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
  • Typically, 2-4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
