Position Summary:
- As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Company’s business growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospects.
- You will combine your technical expertise with strong sales skills to understand customer needs, prepare cost estimations, and deliver technical presentations explaining products, equipment, and services to prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Establish close relationships with existing customers and potential customers.
- Effectively plan, prepare, and conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals that move the customer toward the purchase.
- Respond promptly to all customer inquiries while providing a solution for each inquiry efficiently.
- Achieve a minimum order intake per month to ensure sales top line and gross profit targets are met.
- Study blueprints, plans, and other customer requirements and work closely with engineers and the technical department to formulate cost estimations.
- Undertake effective market and information analysis of situations, data, etc. to identify market
trends and effective competitor identification. - Prepares sales engineering reports by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing sales information for weekly submission.
- Prepares collection report for all overdue payments for submission to superior.
- Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably in industrial products.
- Fresh graduates with a background in Mechanical Engineering and an interest in a sales role are encouraged to apply.
- Effective negotiation skills and a positive “never give up” attitude.
- Candidates proficient in Mandarin language are preferred, as this will facilitate communication with native Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently yet a proactive team player for team support.
- Computer literate.
- Possess own transport with valid driving license and required to travel to visit existing and potential customers.
