Position Summary:

  • As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Company’s business growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospects.
  • You will combine your technical expertise with strong sales skills to understand customer needs, prepare cost estimations, and deliver technical presentations explaining products, equipment, and services to prospects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish close relationships with existing customers and potential customers.
  2. Effectively plan, prepare, and conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals that move the customer toward the purchase.
  3. Respond promptly to all customer inquiries while providing a solution for each inquiry efficiently.
  4. Achieve a minimum order intake per month to ensure sales top line and gross profit targets are met.
  5. Study blueprints, plans, and other customer requirements and work closely with engineers and the technical department to formulate cost estimations.
  6. Undertake effective market and information analysis of situations, data, etc. to identify market
    trends and effective competitor identification.
  7. Prepares sales engineering reports by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing sales information for weekly submission.
  8. Prepares collection report for all overdue payments for submission to superior.
  1. Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  2. At least 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably in industrial products.
  3. Fresh graduates with a background in Mechanical Engineering and an interest in a sales role are encouraged to apply.
  4. Effective negotiation skills and a positive “never give up” attitude.
  5. Candidates proficient in Mandarin language are preferred, as this will facilitate communication with native Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.
  6. Able to work independently yet a proactive team player for team support.
  7. Computer literate.
  8. Possess own transport with valid driving license and required to travel to visit existing and potential customers.
