About the role

As a Learning Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences we deliver. You will be managing and delivering the design of engaging, effective, and learner-centric solutions that align with industry trends and the evolving needs of our adult learners.

Your key responsibilities

  • Apply the principles of andragogy and active learning to developing innovative and comprehensive learning journeys (including learning objectives, instructional material, learner handouts and assessment plans) ensuring alignment with industry standards, and learner needs
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of learning experience design, from planning to pilot, ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, delivery teams, instructors, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, test and productise holistic, job-relevant learning, and to ensure a seamless integration of learning solutions within the Company's overall catalogue
  • Lead revisions and updates to existing learning solutions, incorporating feedback from learners, instructors and clients
  • Take a leadership role in data-driven initiatives, providing oversight and guidance in the execution of learning-related data collection and analysis where necessary
  • Stay abreast with emerging technologies and learning design trends to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of our learning experiences

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience in instructional design, experience design, curriculum development, and e-Learning, preferably in the EdTech/Education/Training/HR industry. Experience in designing skill development programmes for adult learners is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and emerging educational technologies
  • Excellent project management and people management skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong orientation to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Out-of-the-box thinking, adaptability and a collaborative working style
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the future of work
