Job Overview:

The role involves developing, maintaining, and monitoring the company’s Master Development Programs, including project schedules, to ensure timely project completion. You'll be responsible for creating and disseminating project planning and scheduling templates, standards, tools, and best practices. Collaborating with Development Heads, Project Managers, and stakeholders is key to developing detailed schedules, tracking progress, and managing changes. The goal is to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, through regular reporting and updates. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring timelines (Plan vs. Actual) and prioritizing tasks based on project objectives, all while maintaining healthy relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Master Development Programs: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, launching, and delivery timelines from initial planning to completion and handover.
  • Project Management Software: Utilize project management software for establishing Development Programs and Gantt Charts that clearly define tasks, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track progress against established timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and provide regular updates to Development Heads and Senior Management.
  • Schedule Adjustments: Adjust schedules as needed to reflect progress or address delays based on stakeholder inputs.
  • Delay Management: Identify potential delays and highlight them for corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Regularly generate reports on project progress, status, and schedule performance.
  • Best Practices Development: Champion the creation and dissemination of project planning/scheduling templates and standards to enhance project delivery and monitoring.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep accurate records of project schedules and ensure documentation is accessible for future reference and audits.
  • Quality Checks: Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of schedules.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with interdivisional project team members and relevant stakeholders for effective project coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project planning/scheduling, preferably in property development or construction.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Project Certification; familiarity with project management concepts is essential.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Primavera P6 or other relevant project management platforms is a plus.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with collaborative tools for effective team communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry-standard project management software for ongoing enhancement.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must exhibit strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective project coordination.
