Manage the company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain by negotiating with suppliers and vendors and calculating and maintaining stock levels in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses and work stoppages.

· To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization

· To ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual

· To efficiently and effectively buy consumable and expendable (direct material) material for the Company’s MRO operations

· To timely recover material shortages (DMAT) and to reduce work stoppage time to a minimum

· To manage the operational supplier relationship (performance management, quality adherence, on-time delivery, relationship, commercial aspects)

· To develops new vendor business relationships to support specific requirements

· To be e a key contributor to the planning strategies by managing planned and actual lead times

· To cooperate closely with all involved internal customers (e.g. Production Planner, Engineering, Workshop, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Finance ) to operate at minimal stock level with highest availability

· Define and maintain the MRP settings, by liaising with workshop in order to forecast future demand review

· Performing material planning including definition of stock levels, reorder points and safety level

· Drive the procurement level and validate the purchase requisitions produced by the ERP system before it gets handed over to procurement.

· Analyse historical consumption data in order to recommend suitable planning models for certain material groups

· Identification of surplus material inventory and disposes of the material

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or equivalent (Accounting / Finance /Engineering / Business Admin)

Supply Chain or Procurement Certification / Training

Project Management

Computer skills (MS Office / SAP / ERP system)

Minimum 4 years of working experience in aviation preferably in Component Maintenance

Minimum 2 years experience in Procurement/ Warehousing / Logistic / Shipping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
