The Assistant Manager of International Marketing will play a key role in promoting the hospital's services and facilities to international patients.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare marketing and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to enhance the hospital's global presence and attract patients from diverse markets.

Must be a self-starter that can initiate networks with new business leads providing planning, support and follow-up through the proposal process whilst developing strategies for market positioning.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager, International Marketing typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which include (but not limited) to the following:

1. Supports the Head of BD & Marketing to develop and implement international marketing plans and strategies in line with company objectives

2. Manage and oversee direct reports within International Marketing department to achieve the objectives set and ensure high productivity and performance

3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in international markets

4. Developing marketing plans, including pricing strategies and promotion plans designed to meet specific business goals

5. Write and edit international marketing materials such as website content, brochures, and email campaigns (which may need to be in foreign language)

6. Developing and implementing sales strategies, including promoting products or services to customers through advertisements, events, or other forms of outreach

7. Build good relationship and liaise with ALTY Resident Doctors and internal departments such as Marketing, Business Development, Business Office, Customer Service etc. to ensure the successful execution of international marketing plans

8. Identifying potential clients in international markets and developing relationships with them and their representative agents

9. Participating in meetings with foreign businesses, government officials, agents or other individuals who may be able to help with marketing efforts

10. Develop and manage international marketing budgets

11. Manage and coordinate international marketing campaigns and promotions.

12. Organize, manage, coordinate and attend international trade shows, conferences, and other events

13. To perform such other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Head of BD & Marketing or the Chief Executive Officer or designated representative on behalf of the Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare or medical tourism sector

• Strong understanding of international markets and cultural sensitivities

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms

• Ability to work well with teams but also independently

• Well organised and able to multi-task

• Ability to follow through and execute plans

• Experience developing and executing marketing plans and strategies

• Strong analytical skills, using market research to make decisions

• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia

• Bahasa Indonesia is an added advantage
