Duties And Responsibilities:

Analyze Training Needs:

  • Analyze training needs for the entire Group of Companies.
  • Review training policies, procedures, and practices, and recommend improvements to management.
  • Assist department heads in the selection and training of department trainers.
  • Identify employee gaps in terms of attitude, skill, and knowledge that require training and development.

Training Master Plan:

  • Develop a Training Master Plan.
  • Administer spending against the departmental budget and HRDF Claim Management.
  • Identify suitable external training providers and/or internal trainers.
  • Obtain and/or develop effective training materials.
  • Deliver planned training programs.

Organizational Communication:

  • Develop and maintain organizational communications, such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters, to ensure employees are informed about training and development events and resources.
  • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
  • Modify programs as needed to incorporate company culture and philosophy into the training module.
  • Improve training programs based on feedback.

Training Materials:

  • Develop training manuals and courses.
  • Maintain records of training for employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Oversee on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Oversee the retraining of employees.

Monitoring and Coordination:

  • Monitor current and future trends, practices, and systems in the training field, and make relevant recommendations.
  • Coordinate functions and activities with other department heads and department trainers.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by superiors.

Preferred Knowledge/Qualification/Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding and implementing current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) under Act 737 2012, ISO certifications and other relevant practices.
