Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities:-

• Monitoring Procurement functions and workflow running smoothly;
• Assist in Project, and Engineering Department on procurement matters;
• Develop a procurement strategy and liaise with the appointment of suitable subcontract and material suppliers;
• Coordinate with Contractor/ Supplier on shipment arrangement;
• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to ensure the purchasing activities area in compliance with procurement policies and procedures;
• Monitor procurement administrative work such as follow-up calls on filling and updating the procurement database;
• Support and ensure vendor selection and qualifications are according to standard procedures;
• Monitor vendors’ performance, responsiveness, and flexibility;
• Review appropriate purchasing documents to ensure requestor specifications are clear accurate and comprehensive.
  
  Job Requirement:-
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Engineering & equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in the engineering or construction sector, with prior experience in the renewable energy industry, is considered an added advantage
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong research skills
• Analytical skills
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to meet deadlines
