KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting

  • To prepare monthly and quarterly meeting presentation.
  • Follow-up forecast PL from respective head of department.
  • Coordinate with other accounts staff on quarter meeting presentation.
  • To prepare monthly and quarterly meeting presentation working papers for performance review and management meeting purpose:
    i. Income statement
    ii. Controllable & uncontrollable expenses
    iii. Sales units
    iv. Ratio analysis
    v. Presentation slides

Budget

  • Update budget forms in excel worksheet to attach with Budget memo before sending to respective head.
  • Follow-up Budget working template from respective head.
  • Analysis and review Company actual performance against budget.
  • Coordinate with accounts team on Budget meeting presentation.
  • Compilation of Budget P&L for presentation.
  • Coordinate with accounts team to enter budget into system.

Daily/ Monthly/ Yearly routine

  • Monthly closing accounts.
  • To assist Treasury and AP as assigned.
  • To assist AR division monitor collection.
  • To prepare vehicle costing before unit sold.
  • To prepare tax schedule as assigned.
  • To prepare audit schedule as assigned.
  • To prepare and update monthly schedules for Balance Sheet as assigned.
  • To monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecast.

Others

  • To participate in year-end stock take (Vehicle and spare parts)
  • To compute deferred tax on quarterly basis for superior to review.
  • To monitor and assist other department in drafting SOP in which area that is lacking or process improvement is needed.
  • Bi-monthly debtors review with respective PIC.
  • Responsible to conduct CCRIS search.
  • Finance department housekeeping.
  • To perform other additional duties as assigned by superior.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in finance or accountancy or economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
  • Navision experience is an added advantage.
  • Positive and result driven.
  • Attention to detail, complete accurately and in time.
  • Computer skills especially in Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
  • Good time arrangement and able to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Self-discipline and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-tasking and have self-initiative when necessary.
