Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our manpower management and training initiatives, helping to attract, develop and retain top talent in our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and secure approval for The Company's comprehensive manpower plan, which outlines the human resources needed to staff the company and supply the requisite skill and competency foundation to successfully execute the business plans.
  • Keep an eye on and report on manpower-related activities. Compare actual manpower movements to projected manpower movements to make sure that plans are followed, variances are found and appropriate action is done.
  • Stay up to date with local, national and worldwide developments in HR manpower planning strategies and tactics. Offer suggestions for enhancing and modifying the company's employed approaches to achieve greater productivity.
  • Responsible in recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews and conducting orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Responsible for employee training and development initiatives, including coordinating training sessions, tracking employee progress and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Responsible for performance management processes, including conducting performance appraisals and providing support to managers and employees.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR or training role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRDC portal.
  • Possession of TTT certification would be a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Passion for learning and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, during weekends and public holidays, when as necessary.
