Warehouse Logistics Assistant Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and assigning delivery route for lorry drivers in system
• Night loading planning in system
• Coordinate and schedule tasks for lorry drivers and driver attendants, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety protocols.
• Schedule and oversee regular maintenance of lorries to ensure they are in optimal condition for deliveries.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics operations, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Liaising with transporter about the deliveries of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, delivery schedules, and driver logs.
• Provide training and guidance to logistics team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics department and implement necessary changes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management, logistics procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively coordinate and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and suppliers effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Aptitude for identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record, preferably with experience in driving commercial vehicles.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends, if required, to accommodate operational needs.
