Job Description

  • Coordinate oil blending activities with production, packing, and supply chain teams to ensure readiness and compliance with SOPs, food safety, HALAL, and RSPO/MSPO standards.
  • Manage daily stock movements, monthly reconciliations, and resolve SAP Process Order issues while addressing off-specification products with the team.
  • Provide SAP system training on stock reconciliation to blenders, leaders, and supervisors, and review blending facilities to identify improvements for productivity, quality, food safety, and safety.
  • Ensure finished products are checked and approved before packing, monitor in-process and storage tank quality, and report any off-specification issues to Production Executives, Managers, and QA/AM Manager.
  • Issue NCRs to production, plants, or warehouse for nonconformance products and advise supervisors on corrective actions for off-specifications or abnormalities.
  • Verify log sheet accuracy, prepare monthly quality reports, update QMS procedures, and ensure timely SAP inspections and lab analyst competency.
  • Oversee lab housekeeping, safety, chemical waste management, lead surveillance audits, consult with the FG team on packing/warehousing issues, investigate customer complaints, analyze data for quality and cost-saving improvements, and prepare management review reports for blending and QA.
  • Participate in any activities (internal audit, meeting, recall exercise, food drills and etc) related to IMS, RSPO/MSPO, KOSHER, HALAL and etc.
  • Back up peers (executives/supervisors) upon their absence on routine activities.

Job/Skills Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Food Science, Food Tech, Biotech or any Science equivalent field from a recognized university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in vegetable oils & fats industry.
  • Experience in implementing QA/QC methodologies
  • Knowledge of global market trends and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge on SAP is an advantage.
  • Willing to work night shifts and weekends.
