Founded in year 2011 as an electrical parts supplier, MRO Market has evolved to become the preferred Factory Maintenance Parts Supply & Service Specialist. We aim to expand our branch network across ASEAN targeting major loyal customers to deliver values and trust.

In line with our rapid expansion, we are seeking to hire a highly motivated and meticulous key account sales and business development manager.

At MRO Market, we welcome prospective team members who can help push our vision forward. We’re currently searching for an experienced business development manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

Qualifications & experience

  • Possess preferably an engineering or a business degree from a reputable institution.
  • Min. 3 – 5 years of sales experience in industrial products.
  • Experience dealing with M&E technical products and solutions or exposure in various relevant manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated individual.
  • Possess driver’s license and own car; willing to travel across Malaysia.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin as the role requires the candidate to liaise with various clients from across different backgrounds and industries.
  • Proven record of sales growth.
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Possession of market trend and knowledge.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Versatile knowledge in electrical, instrument and mechanical products would be an added advantage.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new clients, while building relationship and meeting business needs.
  • Lead a team of Malaysia-based sales and business development specialists in meeting desirable outcome.
  • Handle RFQs from factory clients across Malaysia.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Involved in negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Prepare any sales documents that might be required ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines.
  • Manage new product demonstration and presentation along with the technical team.
  • Work with internal functional teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on a timely basis.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure financial goals / sales target are being met.
