About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis for 6 months. In this role, you will be instrumental in monitoring and analyzing sales performance, forecasting, pricing, and customer management. You will also act as the Data Governance Steward for customer and product master data for our Malaysian operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Duties:

  • Support achieving KPIs for the quality management system and handle bookkeeping of company transactions.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of operational controls, maintain customer and product master data according to regional guidelines and rules.

Sales Performance Monitoring:

  • Prepare and analyze financial data related to reagent rental sales achievements for key accounts and customers.
  • Track year-to-date sales against forecasts and budgets, identifying and addressing significant performance gaps.
  • Collaborating with Sales to develop action plans, resolve performance issues and monitor the sales performance of individual rental contracts, including managing expiration dates and corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly sales analyses while tracking the execution of sales action plans
  • Oversee the status of tenders and quotations throughout their various stages until sales realization and calculate sales incentives according to Sales Incentive Plan Policy.

Sales Forecasting:

  • Manage the submission of sales forecasts to regional management and work closely with internal stakeholders.

Pricing Control and Standard Selling Price:

  • Assist the Finance Manager and Sales Manager with the setup and maintenance of end-user selling prices for new products.
  • Verify quotations, tender contract prices, and reagent rental calculations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
