PROJECT COORDINATOR - (KULIM KEDAH)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Liaise & coordinate with architect and consultant for relevant submission and approval.
• Prepare the trades' detailed construction schedule for the masterwork program.
• Review various design drawings and identify discrepancies between M&E, civil and structural, architectural, and interior design drawings.
• Manage the sub-contractor's work progress, meetings, drawings, materials, samples method statements, shop drawings submission, and approval all by the construction plan, specification, procedure, and required quality, time, and cost.
• Work closely with the project manager to coordinate and supervise the project site for all works.
• Prepare the progress reports and general correspondence about the site works.
• Ensure all site works comply with regulatory requirements.
• Preparation and compilation for closing the project such as as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, test reports, and others.
• Ensure that all works executed are by drawings, specifications, construction plans, and procedures.
• Execute inspections and utilize quality control mechanisms to check & monitor the project's quality to ensure achieving the quality requirements i.e., CLASSIC, CBl, etc.

REQUIREMENTS (FULLY FLUENT IN CHINESE ONLY)

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building Construction/ Architecture technical or equivalent.
• Candidate experience in high-rise buildings and, civil and infrastructure projects.
• Good oral and written proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Computer literate in industry-related software such as MS Project/ Word /Excel/PowerPoint & AutoCAD.
• Willing to work long hours and travel when required.
• Willing to work on Sunday, Public Holiday, if needed.
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines, resourceful, disciplined, and has initiative and a good working attitude.
