Job Responsibilities:

  • To continuously review high value items and work with vendors on cost reduction programs on a quarterly basis.
  • To ensure that all Purchase Orders raised are issued to vendors on time.
  • To expedite from vendors on parts delivery.
  • To review with vendors on parts quality issues and ensures that corrective & preventive actions are taken by vendors.
  • To ensure that in-house Store has sufficient stocks to cover for Sales requirement.
  • To achieve high level of accuracy in documentation-esp in pricing and quantity stated in PO raised to vendors.
  • Constant and close follow up on required for sales orders and production requirements.
  • To review all “slow-moving or no-move items” in the Store and work with vendors on how to clear these potential obsolete items.
  • To establish a good working relationship with vendors to ensure their strong support required to meet the company’s demand changes.
  • Generate required reports for Management review.
  • To tally the invoice value against purchased value.

Job Requirement:

  • Minima SPM holder with 2-3 years experience.
  • Diploma/ Degree in any Logistic/Engineering.
  • Fresh graduate with internship experience in Purchasing Department.
  • Possesses good planning, organizing, controlling skills.
  • Willing to work at Ulu Tiram, Johor
