Job Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Follow up on project leads, inquiries, and tenders.
  • Project Tendering: Take ownership of tender processes, including bid preparation, submission, and follow-up. Ensure all documentation is accurate and meets the tender specifications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors to secure optimal pricing and quality for materials, systems, and services. Build strong partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Quotation Preparation: Develop and deliver accurate project quotes based on client requirements, vendor input, and project specifications.
  • Industry Expertise: Provide insights on current industry trends and developments, ensuring the company stays competitive in the transportation and railway sectors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to ensure alignment on project deliverables and financial goals.
  • Market Research: Continuously explore opportunities in the transportation and railway sectors, identifying new clients and projects for business development.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project sales, focusing on transportation systems, particularly railway & highway projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the transportation and railway industry, including client requirements, vendor networks, and tendering processes.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of following up on project leads, preparing competitive quotations, and successfully closing deals.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with technical specifications and system requirements in transportation projects.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
