Our Company is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our procurement activities. The incumbent will play a crucial role in managing and leading our procurement team. The responsibilities will include sourcing, purchasing and management of raw materials, production equipment, R&D components, production supplies and office equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a procurement team to achieve department and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, production equipment, R&D components and other essential supplies.
- Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policy.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with suppliers, to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the supply chain and achieve cost savings.
- Perform general office duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- In-dept knowledge of the battery manufacturing industry and its material requirements.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills。
- Excellent analytical and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in ERP system.
- Proficient in Mandarin is desirable for effective communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholder.
- Possess own transport.
- Applicants must be willing to work in our Factory in Shah Alam, Selangor.
