PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Overall:

Our Company is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team and drive our procurement activities. The incumbent will play a crucial role in managing and leading our procurement team. The responsibilities will include sourcing, purchasing and management of raw materials, production equipment, R&D components, production supplies and office equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a procurement team to achieve department and organizational goals.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, production equipment, R&D components and other essential supplies.
• Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with company policy.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with suppliers, to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of goods.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the supply chain and achieve cost savings.
• Perform general office duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• In-dept knowledge of the battery manufacturing industry and its material requirements.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills。
• Excellent analytical and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in ERP system.
• Proficient in Mandarin is desirable for effective communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholder.
• Possess own transport.
• Applicants must be willing to work in our Factory in Shah Alam, Selangor.
