Role Description

As a Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Overseeing the planning, Procurement and marketing of merchandise in our retail outlets.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product assortments are optimized to meet sales goals and inventory levels are maintained to support business objectives.
  • Issuing of Purchase Order to Suppliers
  • Laise with suppliers and expedite delivery of goods
  • Sourcing of suppliers
  • Process delivery notes & invoives for goods received
  • Manage Shipment order timeline
  • Price negotiation
  • Maintain proper purchasing records
  • Maintain and Monitor stock level movement
  • Attend company and supplier exhibitions
  • Product similar design on bestseller to ensure maximum profits
  • Able to communicate with the China Supplier in Mandarin

Requirements

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor degree in marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 2 year of working experience in Merchandising or Buyer relevant
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of retail sales, inventory methods and forecasting techniques
  • Team work and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Willing to travel oversea such as China, Euro and Malaysia
  • Willing to work a trip to oversea from time to time
