Job Description
Job Requirement
Pre-Construction Stage
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
- Read and check through all drawings during the design stage to identify discrepancies, alternative proposal and cost saving items.
- To highlight construction information during design stage, to detect any inconsistencies and ambiguities during design stage.
- To coordinate among the various consultants for drawings.
- To ensure tender documents and drawings are in complete set.
- To attend design coordination meeting and to advise designs proposal on the practical aspects.
Construction Stage
- To conduct site possession meeting with the awarded main contractor and to confirm for acceptance of the site.
- To ensure main contractor submit the project site organization chart to establish site team job description and ways of communication.
- To ensure the master program planed site work according to right timing and in accordance with the billing stage to purchasers.
- To monitor site progress and to ensure work done according to specifications, drawings and BQ requirements.
- To inspect job site with specification, method of installation, safety and health compliance and quality of workmanship, and issue of NCR for non-compliance of work.
- To liaise with the consultant for monthly joint valuation of work done.
- To ensure proper site safety, health and environment friendly on site.
- To conduct pre-handing of inspection of the site before to CPC and advice the SO for any non-compliance/left out works / defective works.
- To monitor the proper rectification work completed on time during the defect liability period.
- To monitor the performance of contractor and consultant on site and to feedback management for Approval List database.
- To carry his thorough knowledge of building construction practices, method and materials.
- To provide technical advice regarding site technical problem.
- To establish and maintain effective working relationship with contractor/sub-contractor/NSC and good rapport with the general public.
- To work closely with consultant towards the authorities inspection for CF/CCC requirement.
- To undertake any and all other specific tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with Conquas / Qlassic quality requirement.
- Well verse in uniform building laws and regulatory requirement.
- Sound engineering knowledge and practical engineering experience.
- Knowledge in project timing, delegation of responsibilities, interaction with contractors and client, plan reviews.
- Have metriculous in enforcing high standards.
- Well versed in M&E coordination work.
