Overview:

This role entails streamlining HR functions, reporting on HR metrics, enhancing employee engagement and retention, predicting staffing needs, managing termination processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations for assigned business units.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR process delivery for partnering business units impacting the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide advisory support to partnering Managers/Supervisors on people matters.
  • Coach partnering Managers/Supervisors on process adherence and legal implications.
  • Proactively understand partnering business units and advise on necessary support.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements for employee management and regulatory compliance.
  • Offer HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees.
  • Support key discussions and processes, including managing difficult conversations.
  • Facilitate resolution of employee discipline and grievance cases.
  • Build and promote employee engagement.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Provide guidance for succession planning and support Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Psychology/ Management, Human Resource Management, or any equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay for better communication among the team.
  • Skills in Industrial Relations and Microsoft Office.
