Key Responsibilities
I. Audit Planning and Execution:
a. Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan.
b. Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for audit focus.
c. Lead and manage audit projects from planning through reporting.

II. Team Leadership:
a. Supervise and mentor internal audit staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and career development.
b. Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve audit objectives.
III. Reporting:
a. Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
b. Develop comprehensive audit reports that clearly communicate results and actionable insights.
IV. Compliance and Risk Management:
a. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
b. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to inform audit strategies.
V. Stakeholder Engagement:
a. Collaborate with management and other departments to promote an understanding of internal audit processes and findings.
b. Provide guidance on risk management and control improvements.
VI. Continuous Improvement:
a. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
b. Implement audit methodologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit function.

Job Requirement & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in developing / implementing a Risk Management Framework, conducting Risk Control Self-Assessment.
  • Experience in performing financial, operational and compliance audits.
  • Proven ability to manage audits simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with the internal audit regulations for automotive industry across South East Asia Countries is advantageous.
