Job Summary
We are looking for team collaborators who are proactive and self-motivated, with the goal of improving workshop repair quality and efficiency, to ensure highest level of customers satisfaction. The workshop manager will provide technical consulting services for customers regarding vehicle maintenance, lead the in-store maintenance team while providing technical support. This is a role that requires practical skills and high level of participation.
Job Description
- Manage the workshop team according to the rules of the EV’s car Operations Manual, allocate employees and tasks, supervise and motivate the workshop to complete work on time with high quality.
- Can effectively shoulder multiple tasks, allocate workload reasonably, achieve common goals through good teamwork, and complete established tasks.
- Analyze training needs based on the skills and performance of workshop personnel and develop a talent development plan.
- As an expert level technical maintenance technician, we provide professional technical services for vehicle inspection, maintenance, and after-sales service of EV’s electric vehicles.
- Provide support to workshop employees on the use of professional tools/equipment and issues encountered during work.
- Responsible for maintaining maintenance progress and related works.
- Responsible for ordering the necessary accessories in the store.
- Complete relevant tasks and tasks assigned by the leader.
- Manage warranty issues as well as strategies method of costs saving.
- Manage team performance through goal setting, communication, and outcome monitoring.
- Conduct performance evaluations on the work of workshop personnel.
- Supervise and inspect team members' compliance with relevant regulations and operating procedures, including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, safety equipment, equipment safety, and safety facilities.
- Unsafe behaviors and states that exist on site need to be corrected in a timely manner, and reported to the supervisor if necessary.
- Organize team members to actively participate in activities and provide improvement suggestions for unsafe behaviors and conditions on site.
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in workshop management.
- Graduated from a vocational or automotive technician related college will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other related software.
- Hold a driver's license, be proficient in driving, and have no bad driving records.
- Work location: Johor Bahru
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend jobs
