Job responsibilities

  • Purchase major materials and spare part to support other department.
  • Meet with operational teams and deliver their buying requirements.
  • Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy.
  • Support account department in payment arrangement for suppliers
  • Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times and quality.
  • Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
  • Support direct reports as needed.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best possible service offerings with respect to lead time vs. price and quality
  • Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.
  • To carry out all the assignments as per required by management from time to time.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by superior as needed.

Requirement and qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in business (preferable)
  • Mandarin speaking (preferable)
  • Supply chain management experience
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • 1-2 years experience

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
