Key Accountability and Duties

1. Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competition.
2. Organising and overseeing advertising and communication campaigns (social media, TV, etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events.
3. Monitoring all marketing activities and generating regular marketing campaign reports.
4. Manage the development and production of communication materials of the company and ensure that the materials are in line with the brand identity.

5. To supervise strategy implementation concerning;
(a) Responsible for creating and implementing business planning processes including managing teams, supervising business operations, designing strategic plans based on forecasts, and providing improvement recommendations
(b) Determine and execute key business initiatives to drive business operations.
(c) Identify business problems and provide recommendations for improvements

6. To oversee stakeholders’ management encompassing;
(a) Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
(b) Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

7. To supervise content development regarding;
(a) Write internal and external communications, including but not limited to press releases, speeches, and marketing collaterals.
(b) Liaise with internal departments to ensure the articles comply with corporate image and other policies.
(c) Manage and monitor all these PRs and publications.


8. To supervise franchising and/or licensing encompassing;
(a) Write Perform Franchisee Development Plans quarterly based on performance and consult the franchisee based on the information gathered. Devise an Action Plan including deadlines with the franchisee and follow up to ensure improvement and compliance.
(b) Monitor the franchisee's compliance with the rules and regulations that have been set.
(c) Monitor and schedule minimum bi-weekly calls with all assigned franchisees to discuss action plans and ideas for execution.
(d) Review each Franchise's end-of-the-week reports and be prepared to provide analysis during weekly accountability meetings.

9. Coming up with the business development and marketing budget and expenditures.
10. To ensure all marketing programs align with IESB branding initiatives.
11. Supervise in SEO efforts (keyword optimization, image optimization, etc.).
12. Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website.
13. Collaborate with designers to improve the user experience.
14. Supervise customer inquiries over the phone, emails, and posts on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
15. Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors.
16. To supervise updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
17. To administrative the department archiving and filing.
18. To undertake any other duties, as requested by management, commensurate with the grade of the post.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management/ Business Administration/ Marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience working a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Business Development officer or similar role.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Good working attitude, self-discipline, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
  • Neat, well-groomed appearance.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
