We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our marketing and recruitment strategies, drive student enrolment, and strengthen the institution’s brand presence across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with our enrolment and revenue goals. These strategies should target specific demographics, including students, parents, and professionals, both locally and internationally.
  • Sales Strategy: Lead the development of sales plans that include specific quotas, territories, and timelines to meet recruitment targets. Collaborate closely with the admissions team to optimize the student recruitment process.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee, mentor, and develop a results-driven sales and marketing team. Ensure that team members are motivated, well-trained, and fully aligned with institutional goals.

2. Brand Management & PR

  • Institutional Branding: Manage the overall brand image of Mantissa College, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, online platforms, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Public Relations: Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance Mantissa College’s public image. Handle media relations, oversee press releases, and manage any crisis communications.

3. Digital Marketing & Data-Driven Insights

  • Online Presence: Oversee the college’s digital marketing strategy, including website management, social media, SEO, email campaigns, and content marketing.
  • Data Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems to track the performance of campaigns. Use insights from this data to refine marketing strategies and report key performance metrics to senior management.
  • Marketing Automation: Implement marketing automation tools to streamline processes such as lead nurturing, communication, and content distribution.

4. Student Recruitment & Admissions

  • Lead Generation: Develop campaigns that generate high-quality leads for admissions. Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth management of the recruitment funnel from inquiry to enrolment.
  • Admissions Collaboration: Work closely with academic and admissions teams to ensure the institution’s programmes and marketing materials align with prospective student needs.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with corporate entities, high schools, and industry bodies to support student recruitment efforts and expand Mantissa College’s network.

5. Events & Promotions

  • Open Days & Webinars: Lead the organization of recruitment events, such as open days, education fairs, and webinars, that attract potential students and their families.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Design and implement promotional activities, including sponsorships and partnerships, to enhance the visibility of the college's programmes and services.

6. Budget Management

  • Marketing & Sales Budgets: Manage the marketing and sales budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Allocate funding appropriately across campaigns to achieve optimal ROI.
  • Cost Efficiency: Track expenditures, adjusting plans and strategies as needed to stay within budget while maximizing marketing impact.

7. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Industry Insights: Conduct research to stay informed about market trends, student preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Programme Development: Collaborate with academic departments to develop programmes that meet the demands of the current market and attract new students.

8. Sales Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Sales Performance: Regularly assess the performance of the sales team, ensuring they are meeting quotas and delivering results. Implement improvements as necessary to boost lead conversion rates.
  • Forecasting: Use sales data and market trends to forecast future recruitment numbers and inform the institution’s long-term growth strategy.

9. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to align marketing efforts with overall institutional goals.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed performance reports to senior leadership, offering insights on marketing campaign outcomes, sales performance, and student enrolment numbers.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales or marketing role, ideally in the education sector.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to meet ambitious goals.
  • Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and content marketing strategies.
  • Sales Acumen: Experience with sales funnel management, lead generation, and forecasting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in data analysis tools and reporting systems.
  • Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
