JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Client Solution Manager for Astro Media Solutions will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team that works hard and fast to grow and maintain strong relationships with direct clients and media agencies. As an integral part of the Media Sales team, this role will be the primary point of contact for clients or agencies once a campaign has been sealed by the Client Partner team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience throughout the campaign execution process across Astro’s ecosystem. This role is critical in bridging the gap between a client’s needs and the company’s offerings, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty which is vital to the company’s revenue generation. Other responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for clients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience throughout the campaign execution process. Develop an understanding of each client’s business landscape, including their financial performance, brands, and challenges to provide solutions that align with clients’ business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders like Content, Radio, Digital, Creative Services team to execute campaigns proficiently across Astro’s ecosystem of TV, radio, digital, and on-ground activation.
  • Coordination: Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders involved in campaign execution to facilitate smooth delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Budget Tracking: Track campaign budget and ensure utilisation of client’s committed spending.
  • Client Communication: Work closely with the Client Partner to keep clients informed about new products, services, or changes in the market.
  • Opportunity Identification: Partnering Client Partner team to identify opportunities to introduce other products or services that complement or enhance what the client is already spending on, thereby increasing the value delivered and revenue generated from each client.
  • Campaign KPI Achievement: Diligently work towards achieving agreed-upon client KPIs by monitoring campaign performance closely and provide timely updates/reports to clients, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive additional spending from clients.
  • Post Campaign Analysis: Analyse campaign outcomes and identify opportunities for client retention through the development of tailored retention plans aimed at strengthening the client’s brand presence on our platform.
  • Administrative Management: Take ownership of all paperwork associated with campaign management, including contract management, invoice payment and data entry into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
  • Trade & Targeted Client Engagement Events: Represent Astro Media Solutions at trade events and client events to effectively communicate Astro’s capabilities, credentials, and business updates to reinforce Astro’s position as the ideal advertising partner for clients.

Managerial Responsibilities (If require):
  • Team Management: Mentor teammate by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Motivation and Engagement: Support the Lead in fostering a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and a strong sense of ownership among team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Advertising/Commerce/Communications or in any relevant field
  • Preferably 6 years working experience in media and advertising industry.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is an added advantage.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams

  • PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
