Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations for construction projects.
- Prepare proper documentation for calling tender for subcontract work including BQ.
- Tabulate and analyzing costing submitted by subcontractor including preparing brief report, conduct tender interview and price negotiation.
- Prepare and process subcontractor payment including capturing all costs deduction.
- Prepare and process subcontractor variation claim including negotiation for price discount.
- Capture and submit variation costing to consultant and follow up with the approval.
- Prepare and submit progress claim to consultants, carry out site valuation and follow up with the Certification.
- Tabulate out all materials usage for a project and monitor the wastages incurred.
- Prepare Letter of Aware for subcontract work involving sub-labour and also total sub-let work.
- Prepare subcontractor Final Account.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Contract, Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- Must have good attitude, integrity, aggressive and independent, and strong in negotiations and communication skills
- Able to manage work pressure, multi-tasking and work independently with sense of urgency;
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and quantity surveying techniques.
- Proficient in relevant software, including MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying tools.
