As the Assistant Project manager, you will be assisting our project manager in planning, organizing and directing the project work of our project team, including estimating, scheduling and budgeting project documentation, and providing necessary support for projects within an organization. Assistant project manager work to help implement project goals as directed by the project managers. This role requires individuals to oversee project goals, create and deliver reports, analyze data from project execution, and any other duties as determined by project managers.

Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager:

  • Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
  • Liaise and coordinate with other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of projects
  • Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
  • Analyzing data as required
  • Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, taking minutes, creating and maintaining project documentation.
  • Tracking and reporting project progress
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
  • Assisting with the preparation and proofing of project deliverables.
  • Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed
  • Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in management or related field
  • Industry-specific certificates and licenses may be necessary or preferred, depending on industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Project management or administrative assistance
  • Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution
  • Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
  • Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools
  • Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
  • Experience with project management software, Google Suite, Workday, payroll knowledge preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Excellent multitasking skills, being able to manage multiple projects at the same time
