They has an expansive global presence in research and development, manufacturing, and sales. They design and manufacture a wide range of innovative connectors as well as cable assemblies for diverse applications including server, storage, data center, mobile, RF, networking, industrial, business equipment and automotive.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Set strategy and direction for the product line to optimize P&L by gaining market share, increasing profitability and developing new business opportunities
  • Own marketing budget and coordinate promotion actions for respective products
  • Coordinate product operations throughout the product lifecycle being the link between sales, engineering and production managers
  • Part of business unit organization with global coverage
  • Familiar with the connector requirement in storage, server and CPU sockets
  • Run market analysis including competitive activity and maintain market intelligence on respective product line with support of market intelligence team and regular interaction with sales team
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements on products interfacing with sales teams
  • Identify need for product extensions / modifications and prepare required ARs
  • Define positioning of product line in market as well as Go-To-Market strategy and prioritisation amongst product to optimize overall gross margin of product line
  • Coordinate new product launches working closely with sales and plant product managers to keep TTR as short as possible
  • Prepare promotion material and drive marketing actions to support the sales with help of Marcom team
  • Design pricing rules and lead regular reviews of their application; modifying them to maximize profitability
  • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate their Go-To-Market working closely with sales
  • Review and challenge sales targets on product line as part of the budget reviews
  • Review and challenge cost, lead time and quality targets quarterly with site production manager, operations and planning teams.
  • Be involved in the relationship management with strategic customers/partners
  • Approve specific pricing decision as part of the pricing escalation process

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
