Section Manager Equipment Engineering (Test)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure maintenance procedures and projects are being implemented efficiently.
• Ensure equipment operation procedures and maintenance programs are in place.
• Drive improvements, initiate problem solving and develop creative engineering solutions to achieve low cost, better quality, improved capabilities and higher efficiency.
• Report all issues within operational area on planned basis.
• Enforce improvement process and risk assessments for manufacturing areas.
• Develop competencies and skills of all technical engineering staff to improve plant equipment performance.
• Ensure high equipment performance, maximize equipment up time. Minimize tester downtime and board downrate.
• Ensure all regulatory standards are followed along with health and safety and environmental.
• Manage Engineering staff and ensure high productivity performance at engineering section.
• To oversee the overall Wafer Sort Enablement at Batu Kawan plant including product & process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics
• Excellent oral and written skills in English and Mandarin.
• 8 years’ industrial experience and above with 6 years equipment development or equipment maintenance experience.
• Experienced in tester maintenance, wafer sort and test background.
• Experience in handling technician.
• Understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing.
• Experience in equipment development, installation, qualification and maintenance.
• Help to build and maintain effective teams.
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willing to work at Batu Kawan, Penang.
