A Demi Chef will work closely together with a our Head Chef in a section.

The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the restaurant's SOP

- Assisting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes

- Assisting with the management of health and safety

- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices

- Monitoring portion and waste control

- Managing and training commis chefs and maintain smooth running of daily restaurant business operations

- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

- In charge of outlet stock / inventory control including ordering, receiving and maintenance of products

Other Requirements

- Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of kitchen operations experience

- Confident, persistent, dedicated and able to work with minimal guidiance

- Knowledge and ability to run a section

- Ability to manage Commis Chefs

- Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia

- Able to work on shifts, weekend and public holidays

- Applicant must be willing and able to work in Taman Tun Dr Ismail

- Full Time Position only

- Must possess a Food Handler's certificate & Typhoid Vaccination within valid period

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
