The Head of Social Media will be responsible for leading our social media strategy and teams to increase brand visibility and influence across all social platforms.

Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include the following but not limited to: -

• Integrate business and social media intelligence methodologies to assess market trends and consumer behavior and sentiment.

• Execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Google, driving performance on reach and leads.

• Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance FMT’s online presence and engagement.

• Analysing social media/ metrics insights and best practices of social media

• Oversee the management of all social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content, brand consistency, and positive user engagement.

• Analyze and report on the performance of social media campaigns and the overall effectiveness of the social media strategy, using business intelligence tools to derive actionable insights.

• Utilize social media listening tools to monitor conversations around the brand and industry, gaining insights on marketing strategies and customer engagement practices.

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., business development, video/ editorial) to manage reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.

• Generate, edit and publish daily content (original text, images, videos and infographics)

• Train and supervise a team of social media executives.

• Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiar with social media trends and consumer insights.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/ video/ text) and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven experience as a Head of Social Media or similar role with a minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok among others.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Experienced in Digital Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok and Facebook
