Responsible for the overall maintenance of machinery, facilities, and utilities system.
Responsible for the overall maintenance and process of production equipment to achieve the desired OEE performance.
Responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of all equipment etc to achieve plant reliability to ensure continuous production without interruption.
To set up a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure preventive maintenance is performed effectively and timely for reliable and sustainable performance.
To ensure operation of all equipment fulfil all regulatory requirement, including GMP, ISO, DOSH, DOE etc.
Establish all the relevant SOP, checklists according to requirements and ensure adherence. Review and update it accordingly.
To establish a spare part management system to support continuous production.
To establish a robust process to ensure all equipment able to operate in consistent performance and achieve the yield target.
Responsible and drive improvement in yield performance, machine uptime, on time preventive maintenance and on-time calibration without failure.
To lead the Engineering team and develop the team to be capable with right technical competency to excel in maintaining the system. This include provide proper equipment training to the team.
To manage the departmental cost and develop cost reduction programs for the plant maintenance.
To support all the new machine purchase, tests, installation, plant expansion projects.
Reinforce current good manufacturing practice requirements and follow strictly the quality management system in ensuring equipment are in a state of compliance to ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management Systems and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
Responsible to upkeep the machine in the good condition and in compliance to all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management Systems, GMP, OSHA, EQA, etc.
To lead department KPI and work as a team to achieve overall company KPI.
To participate in HSE activities and create safety awareness among team members.
To responsible for the implementation of all lean manufacturing and drive for continuous improvement for plant in all processes.
To undertake job related tasks as assigned by superior/ the management.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering or its equivalent.
Minimum 5 years hands-on working experience at supervisory & managerial positions in engineering management in MNCs related to manufacturing of aquaculture, animal nutrition, agriculture, chemical, food processing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or its equivalent products.
Possesses strong Autocad skills. Knowledge in PLC Programming is an added advantage.
Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin language will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge in MS Office, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Experience in using ERP and/or SAP will be an added advantage.
