OPERATION ASSISTANT (LOGISTIC)

Job Description: As a General Operation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and arranging daily orders and lorries for efficient logistics operations.
• Communicating effectively with customers to ensure their transportation needs are met.
• Coordinating with drivers to optimize delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
• Liaising with workshop mechanics to schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs of vehicles.
• Monitoring lorries via GPS systems and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in other operational tasks and providing support to the operations manager as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word) and ability to learn new software systems.
• Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or related field is a plus.
