Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical issues.
- Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and achieve savings through initiatives such as vendor consolidation, bulk purchasing, and negotiation tactics.
- Developing procurement strategies and plans based on the organization's needs, budget constraints, and market conditions.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, sales forecasts, production schedules, and other relevant factors to predict future procurement needs accurately.
- Ensure the company acquires the necessary goods, services, and materials in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
- Verify the received items match Purchase Orders and specifications, and implement quality control measures to ensure that only compliant goods are accepted.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is properly processed and kept.
- Supervise and working closely with warehouse personnel to ensure internal and external supply chain is smooth.
- Implement stock rotation practices to ensure inventory freshness and minimize obsolesces.
- Plan and manage warehouse space to accommodate varying inventory levels and seasonal fluctuations.

Job Knowledge & Competencies:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in the field of Supply Chain will be preferred.
- Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Experience in supply chain, parts inventory management, and warehouse management is a must.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
