We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with an outstanding track record in driving business success through people. This role requires a strong blend of strategic HR acumen and operational excellence, with a particular focus on talent management, payroll, and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and keep abreast of changes in legislation and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements of Malaysia HR Policies
  • Oversee the recruitment process and coordinate with the management to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, tactics, procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Handle the processing of payroll and claims, as well as administer employee benefits such as health insurance, leaves, etc.
  • Provides support and guidance to the management and other employees when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Degree and Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in steel industry and manufacturing industry will be added advantage.
  • Possess strong leadership skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and communication skills with proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Good management skills, meticulous, resourceful with the ability to prioritize, manage escalation issues and provide resolution.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
