- Job Description:
- Implementing safety policies, procedures and guideline in line with legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits, training, and inspections.
- Ensure fire emergency systems (exits, sprinklers, and extinguishers) are operational.
- Oversee risk management initiatives to reduce hazards and improve safety.
- Provide safety training to staff, contractors, and ensure readiness for emergencies (first aid, firefighting, evacuation drills).
- Enhance public awareness of safety through signage and communication.
- Update every incidents in the report promptly.
- Work with external agencies (police, fire departments, DOSH) as required.
- Serve as the Secretary of the Safety and Health Committee and actively participate in safety-related meetings.
- Work closely with all department, customers, government agencies, contractors, NGOs, tenant and external safety bodies.
- Need to participate in in-house safety programs, NIOSH Continuous Education Programs (CEP), and relevant safety seminars by DOSH and BOMBA.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Environmental Safety and Health or any equivalent.
- Possess Green Book registered with DOSH.
- Experience and knowledge in Environmental Safety and Health.
- Experience in retail industry is added advantage.
- Working independently with minimum supervision, energetic, creative and innovative mindset.
