Job Duties:
The following duties are not exclusive and certain items require effective delegation in whole or in part to be adequately fulfilled:
1. Advise and recommend to management of Company ICT needs to ensure the ICT investments are relevant and cost effective.
2. To be responsible for the overall department direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with Company strategy, commitments and goals.
3. Leads the project team through the full life cycle of the project to meet the cost, quality and schedule objectives of the project.
4. Provide team leadership to all project participants and ensure that a sense of common purpose is developed, and effective relationships exist between all parties, such that excellent project team spirit is developed and maintained.
5. Manage the ICT team and ensure that work is delivered on-time, on-budget, with quality and in an efficient manner.
6. Regular meeting with ICT team member to build good working relationships, to boost individual morale, to enhance team building.
7. To ensure Business Continuity Plan is tested on regular basis by Systems Analyst together with the user champion from respective departments.
8. To source, evaluate, identify and recommend new technologies for implementation. This includes hardware, software and communication equipment etc.
9. Prepare annual departmental budget for both CAPEX & OPEX and also to closely monitor and prudent in spending to ensure actual spending is not exceeding budget.
10. Ensure ICT policy, business process and ICT handbook supporting the Company's computerized operations are continuously updated and effectively disseminated.
11. Perform any other duties as directed from time to time as required by the Management of NAIM Group.
