Jobs & Responsibilities:

  • Review and screening resumes and applications.
  • Conduct recruitment interviews and providing the necessary inputs during the hiring process.
  • Working with recruitment agencies to source for candidates for specific job positions.
  • Maintain HR records; updating master database (personal file, personal database, etc) of each employee.
  • Handle employee insurance-related issues.
  • Conducting employee orientation; communicate and explain the company's HR policies to the employees.
  • Follow-up and ensure compliance on statutory obligations – EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Income Tax and etc.
  • Administration of all contract employees or internship trainee.
  • Conducting various welfare activities.
  • Preparing and processing attendance checking, leave management, overtime calculation, monthly payroll.
  • Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality.
  • Resolving grievances or queries that any of the employees.
  • Checking travel expenses, vendor bills or employee medical claim.
  • Preparing letters such as appointment, confirmation and etc.
  • Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly.
  • Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers.
  • Engaging with employees on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the company.
  • Maintain Employee Handbook, HR Policies, HR SOP and forms.

Key Requirements:

  • Good in language(s): Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin/English.
  • Diploma of Human Resource or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ of working experience in the related work is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of HR Payroll / Management System, Attendance System.
  • Knowledge of Malaysia labour law including Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act and etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
