Key Responsibilities

  • Ø Responsible for managing, establishing, planning, and implementing the policies and procedures
  • Ø To provide 1st & 2nd level support for all hotel systems Opera PMS / Micros POS / Q3F Financial Accounting / Materials Control / vHRMS Payroll System / Jurudata Call Accounting System within the hotel.
  • Ø To provide 24 x 7 on call support for any IT matters.
  • Ø Where possible, ensure any system downtime is coordinated effectively ensuring minimum disruption to hotel operations.
  • Ø To ensure all hotel based systems software and hardware are appropriately secured.
  • Ø To log and track all software licenses to ensure legal compliance.
  • Ø To coordinate service and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals, printers, photocopiers, facsimiles, data services and mobile phones.
  • Ø To provide regular and scheduled system maintenance i.e. daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
  • Ø To ensure timely back ups are performed, verified with Symantec Back ups Exec and stored appropriately.
  • Ø To maintain an accurate and up to date asset list for all IT equipments in hotel.
  • Ø Support to wireless guest users properly on how to connect Wi-fi internet when they have difficuilty to make a connection and help them if there is any other problems regarding notebook computers.
  • Ø To attend the daily routine support calls from front and back offices and also from the guest floors & function rooms.
  • Ø Maintain security administration for whole Opera PMS and LAN network users.
  • Ø To support Point Of Sale machine for all Restaurant & Bar outlets in hotel.
  • ØManages projects and activities related to MIS.
  • ØAnalyzes information, identifies current and potential problems and proposes solutions.
  • ØMaintains, inspects and repairs equipment.
  • ØInspects and ensures the maintenance of the equipment or the environment.
  • ØEnsure that all software runs with no output errors, no response time problems and functioning according to specification.
  • ØUnderstand all the department working procedures and perform the related tasks as described
  • ØRespond to all users request and provide them with adequate support
