Responsibilities:
Event Coordination: Oversee and manage various aspects of event and project operations.
On-Site Supervision: Ensure smooth execution and problem-solving during the event, including organising the pre-event site setup and leading the process as per the floor plan.
Post-Event Management: Supervise the site teardown post-event to ensure proper venue handover.
Vendor Management: Contact vendors, request quotes for goods and services, and manage overall production timelines and quality.
Logistics: Develop initial logistics and transportation plans for event support.
Licensing and Compliance: Handle applications and follow up on relevant licenses (e.g., SFA, SPF, COMPASS), ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Safety & Technical Requirements: Oversee compliance with security, workplace safety, and health regulations. Ensure that technical requirements, such as audio, video, lighting, and electrical needs, are addressed.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in event management at an event agency, exhibition company, creative/marketing agency, or real estate management company.
Able to converse in mandarin as nature of job is to liaise with Chinese-speaking client
Skills: Proactive attitude, initiative, and familiarity with 3D drawing/layout planning (a plus).
Licensing Knowledge: Experience with licensing submissions and permit applications.
Tech Savvy: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general internet skills.
Flexibility: Availability to work on weekends and handle overtime when needed.
