Job Description

(This position is based at Dataran Hamodal, Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advisory support to the business and operational functions of the Company Group
  • Carry out contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions, including contracts and documentation for commercial, telecommunications, technology, infrastructure, media, sales and procurement contracts
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the Company Group to ensure compliance with internal policies, corporate governance and legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdictions) with LLB (Hons) degree from a reputable UK, Australian, Singapore or Malaysian university
  • 8 to 12 years of PQE
  • Experience in any or a combination of the following areas of law: Commercial/ Corporate/ Telecommunications/ Technology
  • Prior in-house experience in the info-communications, technology or network infrastructure industry will be an advantage
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
  • Analytical, strategic thinker, pragmatic and solution oriented
  • Reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
  • Responsive, articulate and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

  • Monday to Friday
