Job Summary:

As an HR Executive, you will manage key HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, policy development, and communications. You will support the implementation of HR strategies and processes aimed at enhancing employee performance and aligning with the company’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a variety of HR functions such as the Employment Life Cycle, Compensation & Benefits, Training and Development, Industrial Relations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and HR administration.
  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate selection, and new employee orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Coordinate staff planning and staffing with department heads.
  • Assist in managing salary classification and compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and allowances (e.g., travel or meal allowances), to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Administer and manage various employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, life insurance, wellness programs, and other perks such as flexible working hours or employee discounts.
  • Support the performance appraisal process, including employee evaluations and development initiatives, to promote continuous performance improvement.
  • Identify and coordinate organizational training and development needs through job analysis, appraisals, and collaboration with managers.
  • Manage HRDC claims, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Take a lead role in managing employee relations by addressing grievances, handling disputes, and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Manage all IR matters with a fair and proactive approach, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.
  • Administer employee insurance plans and manage insurance and SOCSO claims.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance.
  • Organize and lead employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives to foster a positive working environment.
  • Review and update company policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Actively gather employee feedback to improve workplace satisfaction and address workplace issues.

Pre-requisites:

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with strong experience in handling Industrial Relations (IR) and employee grievances
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, particularly in managing IR matters.
    • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Sound knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
