Main Duties And Responsibilities

The Marketing Communications team supports management in defining the strategic direction of the Group's marketing communications plan. Our goal is to develop and execute the right marketing and communications plans in line with the Group's strategic business plans to enhance the Group’s branding in Malaysia.

The team undertakes a range of activities focused on Brand Strategy Development, Public Relations, Social Marketing, Event Management, Editorial Support, Stakeholder Engagement and Media Affairs for the Group.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Brand Strategy Development: Assist to develop, execute & design a comprehensive brand communication strategy and marketing planning of shopping malls, directed to drive the attraction of new shoppers as well as retention of existing shoppers while enhancing brand recognition and loyalty, and work within budget.
  • Graphic Design for Marketing Communications:
  • Design and produce engaging visual content, including graphics, animations, and infographics for social media, website, email marketing, and other digital channels.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards that align with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Design both printed and electronic media materials (advertisement, packaging, presentation, website, social media, posters, brochures, flyers, in-house display materials, etc.) adhering to brand guidelines.
    • Content Management: Oversee the development of compelling content across various platforms, including website, social media, email, and print.
    • Campaign Management:
  • Plan and assist in implementing integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message and drive audience engagement online and offline.
  • To contribute ideas for mall theme promotion and decorations, and to present finalized ideas and concepts for approval.
  • Analyze monthly traffic report on mall's footfall & social media postings' analysis, report, suggest and execute ways to improve.
  • To prepare a post-mortem analysis report after the campaign is executed, and provide insights and improvements.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams (Individual Mall's Marketing Team, Advertisement & Promotions, Event Team, and customer service) to align brand messaging and marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on creative projects and campaigns.
    • Market Analysis: Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in retail/shopping mall marketing strategies and provide insights and use data to inform strategies recommendations to the management.
    • Media Relations: Manage relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to enhance brand visibility.
    • Undertake other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time or as and when necessary.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications:-

    • Possess minimum Bachelor's Degree in any field;
    • Minimum 2 years of related working experience;
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
    • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
    • Result-oriented, able to work under tight timelines.
    • Possess good knowledge and experience in marketing and event management.
    • Experience in creating visual content (graphics, animations, videos) for digital marketing, social media, and websites.
    • Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
