Senior QA Executive duties:

  • Implementation of SOP’s (HACCP/ISO): Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and ISO standards to ensure food safety and quality compliance.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that existing SOPs are well documented, accurately recorded, and reviewed annually to reflect any updates or changes in processes or regulations.
  • Preparation & Approval of Ingredient COA: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain Certificates of Analysis (COA) for incoming ingredients and finished goods, reviewing and approving COAs to verify compliance with quality specifications before use in production.
  • Approval of Goods Release: Verify and approve COAs for finished goods release, ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before distribution to customers.
  • Handling Customer Queries Related to Product Quality: Act as the point of contact for addressing customer queries related to product quality, prociding timely and accurate responses to inquiries and concerns. Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve customer issues effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Assistance with Audits: Assist in conducting internal, customer, and government authority audits, providing necessary documentation and support to demonstrate compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Food Act/Regulations: Maintain familiarity with relevant food acts and regulations governing the preparation of product specifications, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standard.
  • Certification Management: Ensure that all certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP) are valid and up-to-date, coordinating renewal processes as needed to maintain compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Renewal of Licensing: Manage the renewal process for necessary licenses and permits related to food production, ensuring timely submission of applications and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Attendance at Routine Audits: Participate in routine audits conducted by regulatory agencies, customers, or certification bodies, providing documentation and support as required to demonstrate adherence to quality and safety standards.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree /Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree and equivalent.
  • Industrial Background Preferred: At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Must have knowledge GMP, HACCP, etc
  • Required skill(s): MS Office, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Preferable Skill(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess excellent organizational, leadership skills, outstanding interpersonal, teamwork skills as well as analysis and presentation skills.
  • Pleasant personality, proactive, self-motivated, and able to multitask horizontally.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, analytical and able to work independently with a positive working attitude.
