Duties & Responsibilities:

1 Contract Drafting and Negotiation:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

2 Contract Administration:

  • Manage and oversee all contract-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract modifications, approvals, and disputes.

3 Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

4 Dispute Resolution:

  • Address and resolve any disputes or claims arising from contracts.
  • Work with legal teams to develop strategies for conflict resolution.

5 Performance Monitoring:

  • Evaluate contractor and supplier performance against contract terms.
  • Provide reports and recommendations to management regarding contract performance.

6 Cost Estimation, Budgeting, Control and Management:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate costs.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgets.
  • Implement cost control measures and identify cost-saving opportunities.

7 Procurement Management:

  • Develop and manage procurement strategies for materials and services.
  • Oversee the tendering process.

8 Valuation and Payment:

  • Assess and verify the value of work completed for payment purposes.
  • Prepare payment applications and manage invoicing processes.

9 Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Foster effective communication among all parties involved in the project

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and Business Administration
  • 7+ year of experience, with substantial experience in project carpentry and hotel procurement
  • Familiarity with PAM contract and sub-contract
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manager complex information.
  • MUST be able to communicate, read and write in Mandarin and English
