Job Scope
• Responsible in accounting functions which include monthly closing, accounts reconciliations, audit, taxation, cash flow management, treasury, fixed assets management, collections, payments and inventory.
• Prepare and/or verify general ledger (GL) related journals, receipts and payments to ensure documents and approvals are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all transactions are complete and accurately updated into the accounting system on a timely basis.
• Perform day-to-day operation of accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and monthly reporting to Group
• Follow-up closely with other departments on outstanding matters
• Work closely with staff from various departments including Invoicing, purchasing department for any issue.
• Liaise with internal, external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers and statutory authorities to ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.
• Support any ad-hoc tasks, duties assigned by Superior from time to time.
