Collaborates with business stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, and development teams to define the necessary tests, test scenarios, and test plans, ensuring they address all business requirements and align with project timelines. Leads testing efforts, supports test teams, and maintains close communication with business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
Performs, monitors, and reports the test execution progress and the overall quality experience of the target test system to the stakeholders. Co-ordinate the test execution activities within the test team to ensure that execution progress meets the required timelines. Produce test plans and review the test coverage, and test cases produced by the test analysts and conduct walkthroughs with respective business stakeholders as appropriate. Execute test cases as per the agreed test plans, log and retest defects as necessary, using the appropriate test tools. Assist with root cause analyses and troubleshooting of defects and ensure test environments are set up and available. Guide and support the test team and carry out peer reviews to ensure that the deliverables meet the required standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Software Testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in managing both manual and automated testing processes across multiple projects. At Zurich, we like to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
