Role PurposeMAB Academy's Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing and executing training programs that meet current organizational needs and prepare the workforce for future challenges. This role fosters a culture of continuous learning, ensuring employees develop future-ready skills in areas such as digital literacy, leadership, innovation, and adaptability. By aligning training initiatives with business goals and emerging trends, the Learning and Development Manager plays a key role in future-proofing the organization's talent pool.
Key Accountability- Learning and Development Strategy: Shape and drive a future-focused learning and development strategy that aligns with MAB Academy's vision and broader organizational goals. Focus on building critical capabilities for digital transformation, operational excellence, and ensuring workforce preparedness for industry shifts.
- Workforce Capability Building: Lead the design and implementation of strategic upskilling and reskilling initiatives in key areas such as digital innovation, automation, data-driven decision-making, and critical soft skills.
- Curriculum Design and Innovation: Oversee the development of innovative learning programs, including workshops, e-learning, and immersive training.
- Training Needs and Skills Gap Analysis: Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to assess workforce capabilities and identify critical skills gaps.
- Learning Experience Delivery: Deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences that promote active participation and long-term knowledge retention.
- Impact Measurement and Workforce Readiness: Establish and track key metrics to measure the impact of learning programs.
- Talent Development and Growth Pathways: Collaborate with Human Capital teams to create structured career development paths and individualized learning journeys.
- Strategic Budget Management: Oversee the learning and development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Manage HRDC funds to support continuous learning and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Buy-In: Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to secure buy-in and alignment on the learning and development blueprint.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as instructional design, human resources, or organizational psychology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on digital and innovation learning.
- HRDC Accredited / Certified Trainer.
- Certification in Instructional Design is an advantage.
- Experience in future skills development, including digital transformation, innovation, and leadership training, is highly desirable.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to align learning programs with organizational goals and industry trends, with a focus on future workforce readiness.
- Experience in project management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the expectations and needs of senior leadership.
- Skilled in handling HRDC-related transactions, including approved training organization management, trainer approvals, training grant applications, and the claims process.
- Having experience in mentoring and coaching employees is an advantage. Competence in Curriculum Development and Delivery is also required.
